The Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo (HFSE), now in its 23rd year, unites the entire team that designs, plans, constructs and manages healthcare facilities. HFSE focuses on how the physical space directly impacts the staff, patients and their families and the delivery of healthcare. Ideas, practices, products and solutions will be exchanged, explored and discovered at HFSE that improve current healthcare facilities and plan the facilities of tomorrow. Hear from Facility Executives. The 2010 Symposium Speaker Roster is made up of the upper echelon of thought leaders, trend setters and industry authorities. NeoCon® East announces new show dates of October 28-29 in Baltimore
BALTIMORE/CHICAGO—The eighth annual NeoCon® East has been rescheduled to Oct. 28-29, 2010, at the Baltimore Convention Center, differing from the December dates originally announced.
“The Baltimore Convention Center recently informed us of a date opening in their October calendar and we quickly acted on the opportunity to accept the new dates,” said Mark Falanga, senior vice president of MMPI, contract. “At MMPI we are fully committed to NeoCon East, its exhibitors and attendees, and feel the October dates will help to best benefit those on the GSA schedule.”
MMPI consulted with GSA’s Integrated Workplace Acquisition Center (IWACenter) and they were strong advocates for securing the October dates. “I’m thrilled with the October dates as it falls within the first quarter of the new fiscal year when government buyers are flush with new budgets and looking for product for all of their government projects,” said Mark Dunkum, Director of IWACenter. “We are also excited to once again host the Quality Partnership Council (QPC) meeting in conjunction with the show which will help to foster a common understanding between customer, contractor and GSA.”

HEALTHCARE DESIGN .10 explores innovations in healthcare facilities

HEALTHCARE DESIGN.10 is a four-day, multi-faceted learning and networking experience focused on the delivery and discussion of innovations in healthcare facilities now and into the future. The Healthcare Council of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) has developed two 2-hour workshops and nine educational sessions for the HEALTHCARE DESIGN .10 Conference. It is the first time a full-fledged facilities management track, “Facilities Forum,” has been included in this conference. The workshops begin on November 13 and continue on November 15-16.
